Pete Hatton, Senior Pastor

Hatton Family

Pete planted RPC in January 2009. Prior to relocating to Oklahoma, he served for almost eight years as a minister to Baylor University students in Waco, Texas through Reformed University Fellowship (RUF). For one year prior to that, he served as an assistant pastor at Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Waco. Pete was ordained in 2001 after graduating from Dallas Theological Seminary with a Masters of Biblical Studies. He is a proud Penn State University alumn. While at Penn State, Pete wrestled and played lacrosse, and it was during his college years that the Lord began to develop in him a heart for the word of God and his people.

In addition to being a huge college football fan, Pete enjoys spending his free time gardening and hanging out with his family. He has been married to Kristen since January 1996 and they have three children: Rebecca, David and Jonathan. Other “family” members include a beautiful yellow lab named Maverick, and a very Fat Cat.

Wooten family

Clay is from Fort Worth, Texas. He and his wife, Monique, were high school sweethearts and both attended Baylor University. There they were involved in Reformed University Fellowship (RUF) under the tutelage of Pete.

It was through RUF that the Lord stirred Clay’s heart to be called into ministry. He graduated from Baylor with a Speech Communications degree and then attended Redeemer Theological Seminary in Dallas, Texas. He was the Youth Director at Fort Worth Presbyterian Church in Fort Worth, Texas and then was the church intern at Christ Presbyterian Church in Mansfield, Texas. In June, 2013, he and his family moved to Edmond, Oklahoma.

Clay and Monique have been married since 2008 and have three children: Hazel, Colette, and William. It has been their dream to help spread the worth and work of Christ. In his spare time, Clay likes to cheer for his Baylor Bears, spend time with his family, and play sports.
